StorageNewsletter recognizes Verge.IO’s End-to-End Automation Chain
VergeIO was recently featured in StorageNewsletter for unveiling new HashiCorp Packer and Ansible support in VergeOS, completing an end-to-end infrastructure automation chain for enterprise IT and cloud service providers. This integration enables customers to automate the full lifecycle of their private cloud environments – from image creation and resource provisioning to configuration and monitoring – using a modern Infrastructure-as-Code toolset that includes Packer, Terraform, Ansible, and Prometheus. By standardizing golden images and enforcing configuration as code, VergeOS helps organizations pursuing VMware exit initiatives and multi-tenant cloud services achieve more predictable, secure, and cost-efficient operations, with general availability of these capabilities planned for Q1 2026.

IOfortify Covered by Blocks and Files
Enterprise or MSP tenants of a VergeIO datacenter run VMs in software-defined hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) combining compute, storage, and networking. VergeIO calls this “ultraconverged” infrastructure. The VergeOS controlling software presents these nodes to tenants and protects the VMs, meaning systems, applications, and files. Immutable clones are made, globally deduplicated and stored, then used as the basis for recovery in the event of ransomware attacks. — Chris Mellor, Editor
