Resilient, Repairable, Recoverable, Shown Live

Resiliency Versus Protection
Resiliency keeps applications running through a failure with zero downtime or data loss. Protection restores data once that resiliency limit is exceeded. The session draws the line between the two.
The Price of Resilience
RAID 5 costs the least and carries the heaviest performance impact. RF2 and RF3 raise resilience with almost no performance cost, and longer snapshot retention sits at the top of the curve.
