A hypervisor, a storage array, a network layer, a backup application, and a disaster recovery product, each with its own license, its own interface, and its own support contract. VergeOS folds those functions into one operating system. Compute, storage, networking, data protection, and automation share a single code base, so there is one thing to license, one interface to learn, and one system to support. It runs on standard x86 servers, including the ones already on your floor.
