Matthew Wenzler

Chief Executive Officer

Matthew Wenzler

Matthew Wenzler is the Chief Executive Officer of Verge.io.

Wenzler also serves as board member/advisor to the CEO for Donyati Consulting, helping to guide some of the world’s largest corporations through complex and high-profile technology implementations. He is skilled at bringing second stage businesses into the market.

Prior to launching Verge, Wenzler spent more than 16 years leading the Global Sales and Business Development Team for Secure-24, a premier provider of managed hosting, disaster recovery, and managed services for the business-critical applications of industry and government. During his tenure, Wenzler helped grow Secure-24 to 1,600 employees and $130 million in sales. He worked with clients such as Delta, Crystal Global, Aetna, Ford, GMAC, LEAR, Roche, and more.

Wenzler received his bachelor of science degree in marketing from the University of Connecticut School of Business. He attended the US Coast Guard Academy for electrical engineering and was a member of the Coast Guard Academy Sailing Team. Wenzler was also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.

In his spare time, Wenzler enjoys sailing and spending time with his two children.

Greg Campbell

Chief Technology Officer

Greg Campbell

Greg Campbell is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Verge.io.

Campbell is an accomplished entrepreneur specializing in complex software architectures. Prior to Verge.io, Campbell founded Codespear, where he developed a software based communications platform used for emergency communications in public safety. In 2007, Codespear was sold to Federal Signal Corporation where Campbell became Chief Software Architect, and Director of Advanced Technology.

Throughout his 20+ years in software development, he has developed a variety of software such as programming languages, database engines, web servers, filesystems, compression, and mass communication systems.

Campbell studied computer science at the University of Michigan – Dearborn.

Kathy Fox

VP of Finance

Kathy Fox

Kathy Fox is the Vice President of Finance of Verge.io.

Kathy has extensive experience in finance, accounting, auditing, contracts, and financial operations, with more than 30 years across diverse industries such as technology, consulting, and government contracting.

Prior to joining Verge.io Kathy has focused her efforts with hybrid cloud infrastructure providers and has led the development of industry-leading financial modeling, analytics, and tracking and forecasting data. Prior experience includes extensive work in mergers, acquisitions, and
divestitures, with more than 22 significant multi-million-dollar deals closed. Prior experience also includes leadership of debt and financing initiatives, budgeting and forecasting, and financial reporting for multi-million dollar private entities.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas and was a CPA in Texas.

Paul Hodges IV

Paul Hodges IV

Paul Hodges IV is the Director of Development of Verge.io.

Hodges has 20+ years of experience working in software development. He has been with Verge.io since its inception and is tasked with leading the development team and building the foundation for Verge-OS.

Prior to working at Verge.io, Hodges worked for Codespear/Federal Signal, developing emergency notification software used by corporations and government entities.

Hodges studied computer science at the Lawrence Technological University. Hodges enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, as well as golfing.

Ted Nunes

Director of Marketing

Ted Nunes

Ted Nunes is the Director of Marketing of Verge.io.

Prior to joining Verge.io, Nunes was the founding member of Proton Marketing Group LLC, a marketing firm specialized in lottery and gaming information technology, where he serviced private and public entities worldwide for 15 years. Nunes also served as an innovation consultant for Open Innovators in the healthcare and pharma industries. Earlier experience includes work as an IT analyst in the pharma industry.

Nunes holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science and Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. In addition, Nunes holds certifications in innovation and entrepreneurial business development.

In addition to spending time with family, Nunes enjoys learning the martial art of Jiu Jitsu.

Christopher Salyers

Chris Salyers

Chris Salyers is the Director of Solution Architecture of Verge.io.

For 15 years, Salyers has built, validated, and deployed a wide range of technologies while rising through the ranks from Field Tech to General Manager at a Michigan based MSP. Salyers has extensive experience in the areas of security, compliance, and cloud computing. The breadth and scope of his experience has helped many organizations overcome tough challenges and positioned them to thrive in their industries.

Salyers enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and he is also an avid musician.

Loni Soulliere

Director of Sales Enablement and Operations

Loni Soulliere

Loni Soulliere is the Director of Sales Enablement and Operations of Verge.io.

Soulliere has 10 years of experience in the IT industry, which includes a unique background of hybrid roles bringing operations and sales together. This exposure has allowed her to build strong business strategies and relationships with clients and partners, providing top quality service.

Prior to joining Verge.io, Soulliere worked in the Managed Services Provider sector at Secure-24 and Nexcess Web Hosting, a Liquid Web Company. Most recently, Soulliere worked in the IT Consulting sector at Link Solutions Group and AHEAD.

Soulliere holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baker College and a Master of Business Administration from Davenport University.

Yan Ness

Yan Ness

Yan Ness is Executive Chairman of Verge.io.

Ness has nearly five decades of experience working with stage one SaaS companies who want to grow to stage two and beyond. He is actively involved in Verge’s day-to-day operations and sees the opportunity Verge has to bring massive computing into the hands of everyone in the world.

Ness additionally serves as investor and advisor to the CEO at Larky, a company empowering financial institutions to connect with their audience at the right place and time using targeted geo-notifications.

For 15 years, Ness was the chief executive officer of Online Tech headquartered in Ann Arbor, Mich. Online Tech delivered outstanding investor returns (over $100M of liquidity in two events), had industry leading NPS scores (80%+) and a culture that celebrated employees.

Prior to Online Tech, Ness spent 25 years as a successful serial tech entrepreneur. He was a founding member of CompanyCrafters, a venture catalyst providing strategic guidance and hands-on start-up assistance to several young companies, all of which achieved liquidity. He also founded and grew to liquidity with healthy returns, Systems and Software Group (sold to Appnet 1994) and WorkWell Health & Safety Systems (sold to Liberty Mutual in 1998).

Ness was previously the chairman of the Small Business Association of Michigan, growing it from 5,000 to 25,000 during his tenure. He was honored in 2013 as one of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

A former nationally ranked swimmer, Ness received his bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of Michigan.

Ron Klein

Ron Klein

Ron Klein serves as the Chairman of Verge.io.

Mr. Klein is also a principal of JK Ventures, a real estate investment company.

Mr. Klein previously served as a Director and Chief Executive Officer of Origen Financial Inc., a publicly traded Mortgage Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) that originated, securitized and serviced manufactured housing loans.

Mr. Klein serves on the Board of Directors of Sun Communities, a publicly traded REIT (NYSE: SUI), that owns and operates manufactured housing and RV communities, and is the Chairman of the Finance Committee and serves on the Executive, Compensation and Governance Committees. Mr. Klein is also a member of the Board of Directors of TCF Financial (NASDAQ: TCF), a publicly traded financial holding company with $47 Billion in assets that is the 28th largest publicly traded bank holding company in the United States. Mr. Klein is the Chairman of the Governance Committee and serves on the Strategic initiatives, Finance, Risk and Technology Committees. Mr. Klein serves on the Board of several non-profit organizations and is a member of the Executive Committee and Vice President of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.

Mr. Klein is a graduate of the University of Michigan and a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.

Paul Hodges III

Paul Hodges III

Paul Hodges III is a member of Verge.io’s board of directors.

Mr. Hodges has a 35 year track record as a successful entrepreneur. He is a Principal and Senior Advisor of Riverstone Investments. He is a founding investor and board member of Helix Technologies, LLC.

Prior to that Mr. Hodges served as a principal of Netarx, a managed services organization, which tripled in valuation after he joined the company in 2010. Earlier, Mr. Hodges co-founded and was CEO of Codespear, a developer of broadcast alert and interoperable communications software which he later sold Federal Signal. In 2007 he was a founding member of Chemical Financial Corporation, now TCF Bank, a $20 billion bank holding company for which he was a director and chair of the IT Committee. Other companies he has founded include Logicalis, which he grew to over $300M revenue and subsequently sold to Datatech, an international IT and managed services provider. He was also a founder and director of the marketing and advertising agencies ePrize and Alteris Group. Mr. Hodges served as a director of the Michigan Strategic Fund from 2007 through 2012 per an appointment by the Governor.

Mr. Hodges studied computer engineering at Lawrence Technological University.

David Victor

David Victor

David Victor is a member of Verge.io’s board of directors.

Mr. Victor has been a businessman and investor for 4 decades. He is the longtime CEO of American Educational Institute, a nationally accredited provider of destination-based continuing professional education, and as an investor has deployed over $200 million in over 300 mostly private opportunities. He has been very active in community activities serving over the years on numerous boards of philanthropies and not for profit issue advocacy organizations. In this context his most notable involvement has been with AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) serving on its national board of directors since 2002 and as its national president from 2008 to 2010. Because of this Mr. Victor has spent a great deal of time in our nation’s capital and worked or become familiar with dozens of legislators and policy makers on Capitol Hill and in the executive branch.

Mr. Victor is a graduate of University of Michigan’s business school from which he earned a BBA in 1981, and University of Michigan’s School of Law procuring his JD in 1984. He resides in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with his wife of 24 years, Kelly Rogers Victor, and together they have four children ages 13 to 21.

Mike Wall

Mike Wall is a hi-tech executive with a history of leading the introduction of new technologies that have changed the landscape of high performance computing, server and storage solutions. Wall was Chairman & CEO of Amplidata. During his tenure at Amplidata, he transformed the company into the world’s leading object storage software company and led its eventual sale to Western Digital in March 2015.

Prior to Amplidata, Wall was CEO of storage innovator Atempo (acquired by Allen Systems Group). As General Manager of Intel’s Storage Group, Wall led the industry’s transition from special purpose hardware to systems designed with commodity microprocessors and chipsets.

Wall also served as General Manager of Intel’s Supercomputer Systems Division, where he led the introduction of Intel’s X86 architecture into the high performance computing market. These systems were the predecessors of enterprise servers and workstations deployed throughout the world today.

Currently, Mike sits on the boards of Reduxio, Axellio and Mach Networks and is a board advisor at Verge.IO and RackTop Systems.
